New Additions to the AP/RC: Kent Kapplinger

Kapplinger, emeritus professor from teaching printmaking at North Dakota State University, created Beautiful Recollections (2001) as a collaboration between himself and his father-in-law Elmer Weerts, at the time a semi-retired farmer. The multi-layered and multi-processed work consists of eleven woodcut, color pencil, direct trace monotype, and collage works on paper. The complete series was exhibited in 2019 at the Plains Art Museum in Fargo.

Also included in this donation from the artist are the color proofs of GFYS (2010). Kapplinger donated the editioned work in 2015.
