Melanie Yazzie (born 1966) received a BFA from Arizona Sate University, Tempe and a MFA from the University of Colorado, Denver. She currently lives in Boulder, Colorado and teaches in the Department of Art and Art History at the University of Colorado. Her works are in the collections of the Anchorage Museum of History and Art (AK), the Art Museum of Missoula (MT), the Australian National Gallery, the Kennedy Museum of Art (Athens, OH) and the Rhode Island School of Design Museum (Providence, RI).
