David Newman

David Newman (born 1948) teaches printmaking and is Gallery Director of the School of the Arts, Brookhaven College in Dallas, TX. He received an M.F.A. in printmaking in 1973 and a B.F.A. in studio art with a concentration in printmaking in 1970 from the University of Texas at Austin. In addition to the AP/RC, his works are in the collections of the Christchurch Polytechnic Institute of Technology (Christchurch, New Zealand), Dedalo centro per le arte contemporanee (Abruzzo, Italy), University of Colorado at Boulder (CO), Bradley University (Peoria, IL), Southern Graphics Council Archive at the University of Mississippi Museum (Oxford), Kohler Library at the University of Wisconsin (Madison), Dallas Museum of Art (TX), Erie Art Center (PA), The University of Texas (Austin) and Trinity Christian Academy (Addison, TX).
