Richard M. Ash III (born 1943) studied at the Fort Wayne Art Institute in Fort Wayne, Indiana and Wichita State University in Wichita, Kansas. He currently resides in Wichita Falls, Texas where he taught printmaking and drawing at Midwestern State University from 1968 to 2010. His prints can also be found in the public collections of the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth (TX), Wichita Art Museum (KS), Contemporary Art Center (New Orleans, LA), Wichita Falls Museum of Art at Midwestern State University (TX), Art Museum of Southeast Texas (Beaumont), Waco Art Center (TX), Davis Museum and Cultural Center at Wellesley College (MA), Springfield Art Museum (MO), Longview Museum of Fine Arts (TX), and Sheldon Art Gallery at University of Nebraska (Lincoln).
