Karin Broker (born 1950) holds a BFA from the University of Iowa and a MFA from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. Broker currently resides in Houston, Texas where she is a professor of printmaking and drawing at Rice University. Her work is included in the public collections of the Art Museum of Southeast Texas (Beaumont), Brooklyn Museum of Art (NY), McNay Art Museum (San Antonio, TX), Mint Museum (Charlotte, NC), Milwaukee Museum of Art (WI), Boston Museum of Fine Arts (MA), Houston Museum of Fine Arts (TX), and National Museum of American Art (Washington, DC).
