James Dormer of Fort Collins, Colorado, works in lithography and intaglio to attain abstractions that rely heavily on automatism. His landscapes of marks, washes and grounds create environments for one’s eyes to wander in search of meaning. The works are composed poetically, one line at a time. This is a selection of works that recently arrived at the AP/RC.
