Students and Faculty Using the AP/RC

Ongoing and less publicized is the use of the AP/RC by students and faculty from a wide range of educational institutions. Recently, students from Texas Tech University School of Art and the art department of West Texas A&M University (in nearby Canyon, TX) examined and explored over 150 original prints selected in advance by their professors in printmaking and art history. The students gain insights from looking at original works of art rather than reproductions shown on a power point or some other digital medium. In an, unobstructed and flexible environment, students take their time, ask questions, observe the smallest details, discover new techniques, and compare one original artwork to another.
