Judy Youngblood added to her AP/RC archive 112 prints and 10 matrices during 2018. Her collection of artworks in the AP/RC now spans over thirty years of her creative efforts, from 1978 to 2010. The works include drypoints, etchings, linocuts and woodcuts; many of her prints combine several media.
Youngblood was recently honored as Printmaker Emeritus by Southern Graphics Council International at its 2019 annual meeting. This is the largest organization of artist printmakers in the world. In recognition of her achievements, the Forum Gallery at Brookhaven College in the Dallas area organized and hosted a retrospective, Judy Youngblood: The Effects of Time and Weather, from February 21-March 21, 2019. Spanning her career, the fifty artworks in this exhibition brought together a remarkable range of prints, drawings and paintings on paper.
